Fiber Optic OEM & ODM Solutions
DIMI provides OEM and ODM manufacturing for fiber optic cable assemblies, passive fiber components, outdoor network hardware, and related metal and molded parts.
Projects can start from an existing product, drawing, sample, or new product concept and move through product setup, tooling, sampling, production, branding, and repeat supply.
What DIMI Can Provide
DIMI supports both product manufacturing and the production services needed to bring an OEM or ODM product into regular supply.

OEM Manufacturing
OEM projects start with an existing product or established design. DIMI converts the existing product information into a production setup while preserving the approved product configuration.

01 - Product Transfer
Provide a drawing, sample, photo, specification, or existing product. DIMI reviews the product structure, dimensions, materials, components, interfaces, and assembly details.
02 - Production Setup
The product information is organized into manufacturing data covering materials, components, tooling, assembly steps, and inspection points.
03 - Tooling & Preparation
Required molds, tooling, fixtures, materials, and production methods are prepared before the first production run.
04 - Sample Production
Initial samples are produced using the planned production process. Dimensions, assembly, configuration, appearance, and defined product characteristics are checked.
05 - Approval & Production Release
The sample is compared with the approved product information. Once confirmed, the product is released for regular production.
06 - Repeat Supply
The established product data, tooling information, materials, and production records remain available for subsequent orders.

ODM Manufacturing
ODM projects start with a product concept, technical information, or a new product idea. DIMI develops the product configuration and manufacturing setup before regular production.
Product Definition
The initial concept is converted into a product definition covering function, dimensions, components, materials, interfaces, and configuration.
Design Development
Product drawings and configuration data are prepared for manufacturing. This can include mechanical structure, cable construction, connector arrangement, and component interfaces.
Manufacturing Review
The design is reviewed for materials, tooling, production methods, assembly steps, and inspection points before prototype production.
Prototype Production
An initial prototype or sample is produced to check the product configuration and manufacturing setup.
Evaluation & Revision
The sample is checked for fit, dimensions, assembly, configuration, and defined performance characteristics. Product information is updated where changes are needed.
Final Product Setup
The approved product is converted into a production reference covering drawings, materials, tooling, assembly methods, labeling, packaging, and inspection information.
Volume Production
Materials, tooling, production resources, and inspection records are prepared before the product enters regular manufacturing.
Repeat Orders
The approved product reference is retained for subsequent production, including the established configuration, tooling, materials, and manufacturing information.
