Manufacturing Capacity for Fiber Optic and Network Components
DIMI's production capacity combines fiber optic assembly with in-house machining, die casting, metal stamping, injection molding, and surface treatment. Capacity is organized across dedicated and modular production lines, with equipment, tooling, materials, and production schedules allocated according to order volume and manufacturing requirements.
Fiber Optic Assembly Output
Automated cable cutting, stripping, and termination equipment supports production of more than 10,000 fiber optic cable assemblies per day. Fiber optic assembly capacity is organized around repeatable cable preparation and termination operations, with production resources allocated between smaller production runs and higher-volume orders.

Manufacturing Equipment
DIMI operates multiple manufacturing processes in-house, including:
22 CNC machining centers for precision metal component production
10 zinc/aluminum die-casting machines for cast metal components
16 high-tonnage stamping presses for high-volume metal parts
12 injection-molding cells for molded components
Automated fiber optic cable cutting, stripping, and termination equipment for cable assembly production
Anodizing, powder coating, and hot-dip galvanizing for in-house surface treatment
The equipment base provides separate manufacturing capacity for machining, forming, molding, cable assembly, and finishing operations rather than relying on a single production process.

Production Lines and Changeover
DIMI uses dedicated and modular production lines. Dedicated lines are used for repeat production, while modular lines can be reassigned for different order volumes and configurations. Quick-change tooling supports line changeovers, and larger orders can use multiple available lines where the process allows.
From Small Batch to Volume Production
Prototype → Pilot Production → Qualification Batch → Volume Production → Repeat Production
Small orders start with limited production resources. As order volume increases, DIMI can add tooling, materials, line capacity, and production time to move the order into volume production. Repeat orders can then be scheduled through established production lines and material plans.
