The 12 Core Horizontal Fiber Optic Splice Closure is a compact outdoor enclosure for protecting and organizing up to 12 single-fiber splices in FTTH and outside-plant networks. Its horizontal inline structure is suited to compact cable joints, branch points, and repair locations where space and splice capacity are limited. The closure uses re-enterable mechanical sealing and configurable cable entries for practical field maintenance.

Structure & Fiber Management
The closure combines a protective housing, sealing system, cable-entry components, splice tray, fiber-routing area, and cable-strength-member fixing points. The 12F splice tray keeps splice sleeves and fiber slack organized while maintaining controlled fiber routing. Cable restraint isolates external pulling forces from the splice area, reducing mechanical stress during installation and service.
The re-enterable mechanical structure allows technicians to open the enclosure for inspection, repair, or network modification without replacing the complete closure.
Cable Compatibility & Installation
Before ordering, confirm the fiber count, cable outside diameter, cable-entry quantity, cable construction, strength-member type, and required installation method. These parameters determine the appropriate port and sealing configuration.
The closure can be supplied for aerial, pole/wall-mounted, duct, handhole/manhole, underground, and direct-buried applications, with the required mounting and sealing accessories. During installation, cable jackets and strength members should be securely fixed before fiber routing, and the manufacturer's specified minimum bend radius should be maintained.

Applications
Typical applications include:
FTTH drop and distribution splicing at compact network-edge points
Aerial and pole-mounted cable joints where space is limited
Duct and handhole installations requiring protected inline splicing
Cable repair points after route damage or maintenance
Branch connections in rural broadband and last-mile networks
Wall-mounted outdoor splice points near buildings and access nodes
OEM/ODM & Supply
DIMI supports OEM logo marking, custom packaging, housing color, cable-port configuration, and accessory kits. For project orders, engineers can review the fiber count, cable diameter, installation environment, and branding requirements before production. Samples can be supplied for product evaluation and project approval.
Quality Inspection & Documentation
Quality control covers incoming material inspection, in-process assembly checks, sealing and mechanical verification, finished-product inspection, and export-packing inspection. Applicable product testing can include IP68 sealing, cable tensile and retention, impact, crush, bending, temperature cycling, UV aging, and salt-spray testing for relevant metal components.
Datasheets, inspection records, and applicable test reports can be provided for project evaluation. DIMI's manufacturing system includes ISO 9001:2015 and TL-9000 quality-management certifications.

FAQ
Q: Can the closure be supplied as a complete installation kit?
A: Yes. A complete kit can include the splice tray, sealing components, cable-fixing parts, splice protection sleeves, and required mounting accessories. The exact bill of materials should be specified in the quotation to avoid accessory mismatches.
Q: Can you match an existing closure or competitor model?
A: Yes. For replacement or private-label projects, buyers can provide an existing sample, drawing, photographs, or model number. DIMI can review the mechanical configuration and develop a matching or equivalent OEM version where technically feasible.
Q: What information should be included in an RFQ?
A: Provide the required quantity, destination country, cable model, expected annual or project volume, packaging requirements, and any required inspection or certification documents. A cable datasheet or existing closure sample is recommended for non-standard projects.
Q: Can you support phased or repeat project orders?
A: Yes. Project-based and repeat supply programs can be arranged with production scheduling based on forecast quantity, specification stability, and required delivery dates.
Q: What documents can accompany a bulk shipment?
A: Depending on the order, documentation can include a commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, product datasheet, inspection records, and applicable test reports. Project-specific documentation should be requested before order confirmation.
Q: Can the closure be ordered in different configurations under one project?
A: Yes. Different port arrangements, cable-entry configurations, colors, and accessory kits can be specified when the project requires multiple variants. Each configuration should be confirmed and documented before mass production.
Q: Can third-party inspection be arranged?
A: Yes. Third-party inspection can be coordinated when required by the purchaser or project contract. The inspection scope, sampling method, testing requirements, and inspection agency should be agreed before production.
Q: Can urgent orders be supported?
A: Expedited production can be evaluated according to current capacity, material availability, order quantity, and configuration. Buyers should provide the required delivery date when requesting a quotation so production and shipping options can be reviewed together.
